Michal Tal-El is a pedagogic instructor in the Revivim Program and is herself a graduate of the program.
For the past ten years, Michal has been a teacher of Bible and Jewish Thought at the Jerusalem High School for the Arts and is the coordinator of its Jewish Thought program.
Michal is a “fellow” in the Maskilot program for Intellectual Leadership at the David Hartman Institute. She is completing her doctorate in the Department of Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research deals with theological questions in teaching Bible in public schools and the challenges facing teachers pertaining to teaching about God in the classroom.
She has extensive experience in leading groups in both formal and informal educational frameworks on subjects including Jewish and Israel identity for Jewish communities abroad and for teachers in the Israeli educational system.
Michal lives in Jerusalem, is married to Shauli and mother of Adam-Shir
