The opening of the academic year was marked in early November 2018 with a visit of all current Revivim students to The Israel Museum’s Jewish Art and Life Galleries. The tour opened a window to alternative ways of addressing issues relating to Jewish and Israeli identity with high school students, in school, through objects pertaining to Jewish heritage. It also presented ways to maximize visits to the museum with school groups. Revivim’s students enjoyed visiting the galleries and were appreciative of the new educational options introduced to them as Jewish Studies teachers in the public school system.
