"Lets Talk About It!" an important evening dedicated to how educators discuss sexual behavior with adolescents was held for all Revivim students in early January 2018. Noa Nufar, a ninth cohort graduate, who teaches Bible and History in the Sde Boker High School, and has developed and teaches educational programs relating to gender and healthy sexual behavior in junior high schools, high schools and pre-army programs, was invited to lead this program. Noa presented the topic and the Revivim students discussed dilemmas related to teaching material with sexual content, in Bible classes. The discussions, led by Revivim students, focused on the stories of Jacob, Rachel and Lea, and Judah and Tamar in Genesis, and the story of Amnon and Tamar and David's elegy of Jonathan, both in Samuel II. The discussions in small groups were very serious and interesting, and provided an opportunity for all of the students to express themselves. Noa wrapped up to evening by presenting educational theories relating to sex education and offering practical tools for teachers. The students were gratified to have had this opportunity to discuss issues that arise, in one way or another, quite frequently in their classes.
