Walfish is a pedagogic mentor in the Revivim Honors Teacher-Training Program in Jewish Studies in the Faculty of Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a graduate of Revivim Program's first cohort. Within this framework, she studied for her M.A. degree in the Harman Institute for Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University. She taught Bible and Jewish Thought for many years at the Charles E. Smith High School for the Arts in Jerusalem where she also held a number of educational and administrative positions, including subject coordinator, measurement and evaluation coordinator, and homeroom teacher. In addition to her position in Revivim, Ms. Walfish is a teacher and mentor at the Kerem Institute for Humanistic Jewish Education in Jerusalem, and facilitates continuing education classes for teachers. She has also studied group facilitation for Torah studying groups.
